New pricing and ordering timeline!!

It has been a great year and a half with just starting out on my own in photography. I really love it and even more I love all those who have come to me with their babies, their kiddos, their seniors, their engagements, and their families, and extended families. I have been very blessed to be able to be part of your lives. It is wonderful to me to be able to know and work with all of you. God has certainly guided me on a path - and I am soooo thankful to have this path.

I have been doing some pondering lately, and checking around on other photogs and what they do. I have come to a conclusion that a few things will have to change after the new year in 2010. The following is a list of small changes that will take place.

1. I LOVE SENIORS!!!!!!!!!! I really do, and it gets me pumped when I get to hang out with them and get to know them. In the past it has been $40 for the sitting fee. Due to the length of time that I spend with them and the enormous amount of time it takes me to edit 300+ pics - I will have to change the sitting fee to $60.

2. I LOVE FAMILIES!!!!!!!!! I really do, and it gets me pumped to spend time getting to be part of your family and meeting everyone, and getting to know everyones personalities!!!! The past sitting fee has been $40 for families under 6 people - but this will increase to $45. This is not drastic from the past sitting fee - but just increased a little due the fact that sometimes I can spend 2 hours with the family and then 3 hours editing. I am not complaining though - because I LOVE IT!!!!

3. I LOVE ORDERING!!!!! O.k. so you see a trend here - I LOVE what I do, and I do what I LOVE!!!! The past ordering timeline has not had a time limit on it. The more I have been checking around, most photogs have a time limit of ordering in 2 weeks, or there is a 25% charge. I thought long and hard about it and I am willing to do a time limit of deciding on your pictures within 3 weeks, and a 10% charge if it is ordered after that.

I hope you understand that I do have to try to make it out there. I do not feel that these changes are tooo drastic!!!!! I really do appreciate all of you who have had me take your pictures!!! It really means alot to be part of your home. Thanks a million!!!!!

Gradyn is 1

This little guy has just got to be one of the cutest!!! With all of his rolls and such, I just wanted to pinch every little bit of him. He truly is a cute ham on bun! Loved every little bit of his smiley personality and whim!!! To make me feel real old - I used to babysit Gradyns mom. O.k. so that makes me feel ancient!!! Thanks Lissa for letting me capture Gradyns first year pictures. I had a lot of fun and it was great to see you again!!!

Bleyenburg chillins

I think that I get really great families to photograph. I am really blessed with who I have been able to capture in my year and a half of doing this. This is one family that just reminds me of that.

I dont know if I am correct when I say this - but the kids all show their love for each other - and it seemed like they were pretty close knit. They are all wonderful kids!!

I went to the Bleyenburgs house to photograph them. This is such a beautiful house - I have put my name in for one of my girls weddings to be here - I think maybe 20 years from now will be a good time to hold a date there. Although, that is one day that I dont want to see come too fast for any of them!!! They are still mamas babies.

Thanks Sue and kids for helping me to have a great time capturing your memories!! It was a perfect day, and you were wonderful to be with.

The Bush kiddos

Have I ever mentioned how much I love to do what I do. I LOVE being a mom, that is the ultimate job, but, I love hanging out with other peoples kids and capturing their memories too, and being with each and every childs personality is just amazing!!! Each child that I have been with without a doubt is differant, but they are all so fun and that is what I love about my own kids as well.

This is the Bush kids and they are soooo fun!!! Little Micah the second child could talk my ear off and is a barrel full of energy - but I have fun with that - espessially cause I could leave him with his mom at the end of the night!!! : ) Keri! Jackson is just a handsome little guy and he is the first born and if you look at his eyes he is going to be a heart throbber some day. And, then there is little Natalie who is just a princess and has some really big brown eyes - that I just adore.

Thanks sooo much Keri for letting me capture your kids in all their personalities and charms!!! They are alot of fun and I had a great time!!!
