Will and Kerri - Engagement - True Love

Meet Will and Kerrie. This is an amazing couple that is deeply in love. Will is in the stationed in Afganistan in the military and was here for a two weeks on leave - I think that is what you call it. Will and Kerrie are engaged and last week Saturday I had the honor of capturing their engagement session before he had to leave again for 5 months this week Tuesday.

We walked downtown Grand Rapids, and I could just feel the love that this couple had for each other. They are both very sweet, and just held onto each other during the moments they were together. Its not very often that they are together - you know what they say - separation makes the heart grow stronger - well, I felt the hearts were very strong for each other. There was no dought that when they looked into each others eyes they both felt butterflies, and felt a strong connection to each other.

Last week Saturday was also the day before Valentines Day, so this was a great outing, and I cant tell them enough how fun it was for me to be with them and honored to be capturing their engagement session.

Thanks soooo much Will and Kerrie - I wish you all the love that you can hold and more!!! I know you have it. Thank you Will for serving our country and for fighting hard for us - you are truly appreciated!!! God bless both of you!!!

Portrait Parties

Spring is right around the corner....hopefully, anyways. That means flowers will be budding, grass will be turning green, the sunshine will be warming things up, and the kids will get their much needed time outdoors again!!! That will be a wonderful thing!!!

In the month of May- if the weather is nice (you never know in Michigan), I will be doing portrait parties. The host will get the sitting fee free and all the portraits on a cd for $30. The requirements is just to have 8 - 10 other parents come to your party. The location will be at a barn setting that I will be choosing, and I am still on the hunt for the perfect one. I have used so many barns - that I want to find one that I really LOVE!!!

New faces!!!

Wow!!! Its been a little while since I last blogged. The holidays are finished and people are starting to roll in again with pictures that they would like taken. I TRULY love what I am doing. Making memories, and in doing that making friends by meeting new people.

This mother Veronica contacted me thru a friend that had her little babies pictures taken with me - see below post - Joshua. She wanted her kids pictures done - and of coarse I jumped on that - because having kids over to play with and have fun with, besides my own, just makes me a kid again. I can do whatever I want to be silly - but hey whatever can make a kid smile - is the game that I will play. So, Veronica came with her daughter and son and we just had a fun time. I can tell that these kids soooo adore their mother - they were all about hugs and kisses, and I feel and capture the LOVE!!

Thank you, Veronica for bringing your kids here. I am glad I got to capture them being a kid. It was very nice to meet you, I enjoyed working with you and your sweet kids!!!
